  Isla Blanca Saved! This just in: yesterday the Cameron County Commissioners voted to prohibit any development on Isla Blance Park. We're not out of the woods yet ... but thanks to all those who supported saving Isla Blanca.

The Sons of the Beach sand castle wizards sandyfeet and Amazin' Walter worked hard and had fun way back in May at the "Tournament of Champions"
BUT NOW:

Karen Fralich and Rich Varano are the "Champions of Champions"... yes in a peoples choice vote from more than 11,500 people "princes power" won first place, Michel and Marc Lepire won 2nd place and Peter Vogelar and David Ducharme won 3rd.... it was and still is (til the end of october) a fantastic show.... sandyfeet and amazinwalter consider it an honor to be also rans.... see more pics at http://www.flickr.com/photos/amazinwalter/sets/72057594142368836/
